Test what you hear and see through your reading of scripture. One important facet of false teachings is that not everything that false teachers teach is false. Some of it; maybe a lot of it, is right. Thats the lethal aspect. There’s enough heresy or false doctrine mixed into the teaching to corrupt the gospel. It’s just like dropping arsenic into a fresh, clean glass of sparkling good water. Is the water still fine to drink?
