In the church that the Lord has given you, you have remained a steadfast shepherd of your flock. Your fidelity to the truth in the Word, your love for the Word and your commitment to following the command to love God with all of your heart and mind and to love others is evident. You recognize that telling people the truth about themselves for their spiritual growth is loving. For these reasons, and for 100 more, I express my gratitude.
Alas, however, on this Father’s Day, I get on my knees in thanks for the constant guidance, prayer and teaching you have devoted to my children, Nate and Samantha. Your wisdom and love, coupled with your beautiful wife, Kathy, has given Brian and me peace in struggle, joy through triumphs and a view of Christ in advance. In great sincerity, I love you!
